When

Friday 6 March from 9:30am to 11:30am

Join us for our free monthly walk and celebrate both Sydney Lunar Festival and Seniors Festival.

Our walk will take us to the 4A Centre in Haymarket.

We'll see An Offering, A Burning, A Prayer, a major exhibition and the centrepiece of 4A’s Lunar New Year celebrations.

Curated by Con Gerakaris, the exhibition brings together newly commissioned works and key recent pieces by Choy Ka Fai, Casey Chen, WeiZen Ho, Emma Pham, Jason Phu and Savanhdary Vongpoothorn.

Grounded in ideas of renewal, freedom and self-expression, the exhibition approaches Lunar New Year as a moment of transition and transformation. Set against the energy of the Year of the Fire Horse, An Offering, A Burning, A Prayer reflects on new beginnings, clearer direction and renewed momentum, centring on acts of letting go and quiet, healing shifts between cycles.

Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and clothing.

Registration is essential, please email kgvfitness1@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au to register.
