Enjoy sport and recreational programs including:
Move for All - Monday 1pm, Tuesday 1:30pm, Wednesday 12:30pm
Join our experienced facilitator for a workout tailored to older adults. The class offers a range of gentle exercises focusing on stability, falls and arthritis prevention in a safe and social environment. The exercises will benefit healthy ageing and day to day life. All abilities are encouraged to attend.
Pickleball - Thursday 10am to 12pm Join the fun, try a new sport or show off some skills in a safe and welcoming environment. Pyrmont has an avid Pickleball community if you want to get involved. All abilities are welcome.
Walking basketball - Friday 12:30pm Stay active, have fun, and make new friends. This program is designed for older adults who want to enjoy the excitement of basketball without the intense running. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a first timer, this low-impact, high-energy program allows any ability to enjoy a team sport in a safe and controlled manner.
Extra activities Our centres offer the community a variety of enjoyable activities, such as singing, ukelele, crochet and stitching. Feel free to join in on the fun and learn a new craft with an experienced facilitator in a friendly and welcoming group. Whether you have never tried before and after a new hobby, or want to expand your knowledge, all are welcome to partake!
