Fridays, 10:30am to 1pm Friday 17 January to Friday 21 February

This fun 6-week cooking and nutrition program is designed to help you make lasting changes for better health.

You'll learn how to save money on your food, store food safely, understand food labels, new food knowledge, cooking skills and to plan meals to reduce food waste.

Each session runs for 2.5 hours and includes fun nutritional activities, practical good cooking lessons, and a social meal.

The course starts on Friday 17 January and ends on Friday 21 February. You must commit to all 6 weeks to attend and be aged 18 years or over.

At the end of the 6-week program participants will receive a certificate and cookbook.

The classes are run by OzHarvest's nutrition, education skills training (NEST) program.

The Cliff Noble Community Centre is open Monday to Friday 9:30am to 3:30pm. We have free computer use, photocopier/scanner, wifi, table tennis and tea, coffee and biscuits. You can drop in any time during open hours and we have many weekly activities like computer help, craft groups, gentle exercise, tai chi and music and movement.
