Fridays, 10:30am to 1pm Friday 17 January 2025 to Friday 21 February 2025
This fun 6-week cooking and nutrition program is designed to help you make lasting changes for better health.
You'll learn how to save money on your food, store food safely, understand food labels, new food knowledge, cooking skills and to plan meals to reduce food waste.
Each session runs for 2.5 hours and includes fun nutritional activities, practical good cooking lessons, and a social meal.
The course starts on Friday 17 January and ends on Friday 21 February. You must commit to all 6 weeks to attend and be aged 18 years or over.
At the end of the 6-week program participants will receive a certificate and cookbook.
The classes are run by OzHarvest's nutrition, education skills training (NEST) program.
