Surry Stories Guided Bike Ride

A playful and fascinating guided bike tour of Surry Hills.

Whether you’re an experienced bike buff or are pushing the pedals after a long break, come and play.

Join us throughout April for an inclusive and creative excursion that will weave you through the arteries and capillaries of Surry Hills’ heart to uncover its stories of art, community, history and culture. Our bike captains will guide you on your bicycle journey, bringing to life the local characters and stories for a unique, immersive experience.

Ages and experience

People of all ages and bike experience-levels are welcome. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. We encourage participants to complete the Cycling in the City course before joining a guided ride.

Pimp your bike

Before you push off, the best explorers need the best looking gear, right?

Meet us earlier in the day at Surry Hills @Play Pop Up Picnics to grab some up cycled, and repurposed decorations to pimp out your bike and helmet as you get ready for the most unconventional ride of your life!

This is a free event, but bookings are essential as places are limited. Please give at least 48 hours notice of cancellation.

When and where

Arrive 10.45am for an 11am start/1.45pm for a 2pm start. Finish time is approximate. Head over to Surry Hills @Play for pimp your bike beforehand.

Meet at Collins Street Parklet (next to Surry Hills Library).
