Movement & Meditation Classes

When

Tuesdays, 12pm to 12:45pm Tuesday 11 February to Tuesday 16 December

Every Tuesday, over your lunch break, take time out for yourself and escape the office. Meet in the centre of the Chinese Garden of Friendship and enjoy a gentle movement and meditation practice with our beautiful teacher Carol.

Carol will share a blend of qi gong, tai chi and yoga movement to help relieve stress, shift energy and find focus, ending with a meditation to held calm and stabilize the mind. Wander the tranquil garden as you leave, and re-enter the world with a sense of renewal.

Carol is passionate about working with people's energy through intuitively guiding and empowering each individual to connect with the deeper messages of their bodies. To create change and healing for their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health so that they can return to wellness.

Carol has been teaching yoga for over a decade and is trained in Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Myofascial Release, Qigong, Acupressure, and Medical Intuition. She is most interested in bridging ancient teachings and modern science to help people connect with themselves on a deeper level of wisdom from within for self-care and self-healing.

Price:

  • $17 for the general public ($5 class fee and $12 garden entry)

  • Free for Friends of the Garden members

Maximum group size of 15 people, bookings recommended!
