A 7-week falls prevention program by NSW Health for ages 65 years and over, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples ages 45 years and over.
Learn to reduce your risk of falling and maintain independence.
The program includes gentle group exercises to improve balance and educational talks from experts. Topics covered include:
Medication management
Community safety and footwear
Nutrition and bone health
Vision
Getting up after a fall.
You'll receive weekly handouts and and a manual to take home. No prior knowledge or exercise experience is required.
