Sydney Bridge Centre's mission is to enrich players’ life through bridge, whether you are looking for the joy of socialising, self-improvement and/or continuous learning.

Our teacher Emma Barnes is one of the best teachers in the country. She is experienced, patient and humorous. Her way of explaining complex concepts with simple daily life examples helps our students to have an easy start and progress well in their bridge journey.

These courses will run for 6 weeks in Canada Bay Club, once a week on Thursday morning. You will play in each lesson as you learn. You will be able to play in our supervised session (either in City or in Canada Bay) once you've completed the course.

You don’t need to know anything about cards to learn bridge, our Beginners Course is designed for absolute new players. Please consider our Friday workshop if you’ve already learnt before or you have grown beyond beginners level!

It will be great if you are taking the course with a friend. However it's not necessary to have a partner for the course – take the opportunity to get to know some new people!

If you have taken the Sydney Bridge Centre Beginners Course before, we offer it to you free to repeat. We understand that sometimes life gets in the way, and we believe people naturally want to progress. Please leave us a note when you book in.

When?

  • 6 Thursday mornings from 1st June to 6th July 2023, 10:30am - 12:45pm

Where?

The course will be held in Canada Bay Club, 8 William Street, Five Dock. There is plenty of free on-site parking.

We hold our ongoing regular club games in the same premises. You can continue to play & improve after completion of these courses with us here.
