Wednesdays, 2pm to 3:30pm Wednesday 20 November to Wednesday 11 December
Creative activities can free our minds to explore what's important in our lives and boost our emotional wellbeing.
Hosted by Catherine from the Older Persons' Wellbeing Network, this free, 4-week art group will explore a variety of creative activities.
There will be a new activity to try each week, such as:
making a memory jar
exploring the practice of Zen tangling
creating a collage
making a gratitude flag.
No artistic experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided.
The Older Persons’ Wellbeing Network is a wellbeing support program for seniors, funded by the Central and Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network.
To attend the classes, you must be 65 or older. If you're Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, you must be at least 55 years of age. You'll also need to complete a registration form at the first workshop.
We aim to deliver inclusive and accessible events. If you have any particular access or communication needs, please contact Bishop, Community Services Worker, on 02 9265 9133 or blaryea@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au
