Waverley Library
Ron Lander Centre, 32-48 Denison Street, Bondi Junction NSW 2022
When

Friday 1 March from 10:30pm to 11:30pm

As part of the NSW Seniors Festival, inspiring author Dr Anne Ring will share from her book Engaging with ageing.

Dr Ring is an 81 year old health sociologist whose understanding of ageing comes from extensive personal and professional experience. Her PHD thesis looked at 50 years of health, body image and ageing issues as presented in the media and she continues to write about these and other ageing topics as well as being “old and happy about it".

This book challenges the culture of youth in our society by showing that growing older is just another normal stage in our lives, for us to continue making the most of in ways that suit each of us as individuals.

Dr Anne Ring will have copies of her book to purchase and sign.
