Saturday 2 March from 6pm to 11pm
Free
It's written in the cards. Saturday 2 March there will be colour, there will be confidence, there will be charisma and there will be character. Over 200 floats from every corner of our communities will fill Oxford Street, Flinders Street and Anzac Parade with music and magic for the 46th Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade.
As always, our fearless protectors, Dykes on Bikes, the incomparable First Nations and our beloved 78ers will lead the way for over 12,000 marchers as they bring to life the 2024 Festival theme Our Future...
Join hundreds of thousands of people from Hyde Park to Moore Park in the free and premium ticketed viewing areas to witness the wonders of the LGBTQIA+ communities. Reminding the world that no matter our future, we'll march on, because no future is a match for our future together.
The Sydney Mardi Gras Parade is for everyone, that's why there will be a free Accessible Parade Viewing Area (by application) that includes a free shuttle to and from public transport, low-sensory zones, flat road-level access and more.
Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras acknowledges the Gadigal people of the Eora nation, who are the traditional owners of the land on which our celebrations are held on. Always was, always will be Aboriginal Land.
