Fridays, 2pm to 4pm Friday 20 September to Friday 1 November
Collective Leisure, partnering with UTS, Thread Together and the City of Sydney, is engaging mental health services to refer clients to a free community football program played on a brand new synthetic pitch.
This program is a mental well-being initiative that supports individuals in their mental health recovery.
It combines education on well-being with football to improve physical activity, confidence and reduce social isolation through social sport.
Individuals between 18-40 year olds must be engaged and referred via a mental health service. Support workers are welcome to join.
Individuals may self-refer to the program, however a mental health service and support worker from this organisation must be identified at the time of registration.
Stay behind and enjoy some free refreshments and socialise with the team after each football session.
To register, please contact David Burns on 0451 441 434.
