Perhaps you’re a new cyclist, new member or simply getting back on the bike after a while? Join us for a beginners ride, aimed at building confidence in a group riding setting, helping you meet like-minded riders and providing a stepping stone to other Rapha rides, such as our Wednesday Starters group.

More trained riders in our bunches keeps our rides safer and more enjoyable, and is recommended for new and experienced riders alike. Each club behaves slightly differently, so it’s important you are aware of our rules and etiquette for your safety and those around you if you are new.

Where:

We’ll be staying within the park limits with a few jaunts down the middle (to practise stopping and turning as a group, as well as climbing up the Cat’s Ears to practise keeping the bunch together on top of the usual loop).

When:

We will be meeting at 8:30am at the Greenhouse Cafe, Grand Drive, Centennial Park for a number of laps. The session will begin with a 30 minute introduction to group riding and road riding skills, followed by a Q&A, before setting off for approximately 60 minutes (with breaks). Following the end of the session around 10am, we'll head out to the open road to our partner cafe, Veneziano Surry Hills or our Clubhouse in Sydney.
