Sunday 13 July from 3pm to 5pm
Celebrate NAIDOC Week as we honour the 2025 theme – The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy.
Join us for a meaningful afternoon of connection, culture, and storytelling as NAIDOC marks 50 years of embracing First Nations voices.
Begin with a Welcome to Country ceremony, immerse yourself in the tradition of weaving and listen to captivating stories from Aunty Ali Golding, a First Nations storyteller. Find a cosy spot for a picnic or indulge in delicious food from Koori Kulcha Food Truck. Bush to Bowl will also showcase native ingredients and traditional cooking techniques in their cooking demonstration.
As evening falls, gather for a magical Spotlight Prowl, an nature walk led by educators from Centennial Parklands.
Presented in partnership with Waverley and Randwick councils, this event welcomes all ages to share in the spirit of NAIDOC Week. Well-behaved dogs on leads are also welcome.
