Media Release Writing & Pitching Workshop

Throughout this course, you will gain advanced knowledge on how to perfect your pitch and plan an effective media strategy. Covering a broad range of topics from press release writing to managing the media, this course will ensure that your media efforts never go to waste.

Run by Medianet's accredited media trainer, Jayne-Maree Sedgman, who has worked both as a journalist and in the PR industry, your training will be delivered from both perspectives.

Her knowledge comes from her time at the coalface in radio and television news and current affairs, both for commercial media, including Reuters and AAP, and national broadcasters, the ABC and BBC.

As principal of Media Savvy, she’s used that knowledge to train spokespeople around the country, from small not-for-profits through to federal government agencies and global companies.
