Makers frontyard market trail

Where
Park Ave
Ashfield NSW 2131
Australia
When

Saturday 8 October from 10am to 4pm

Makers Frontyard is an inclusive, outdoor market trail with a neighbourly, community feel.

A grass roots Inner West event, conceived by local makers who were impacted by successive years of Covid-19 lockdowns, it offers everyone the opportunity to meet local creatives in their front yards and buy locally handmade goods direct from the makers themselves.

In October 2020, a frustrated Ashfield based textile printer and maker called two maker friends who shared the need for an outlet for their work after months of being locked away in their homes. So, they opened one front yard to the public to sell their handmade wares. To their delight it was welcomed by the community and was a huge success! Since then, Makers Frontyard has continued to grow, this will be the fourth iteration and will feature more than a dozen creatives.
