Conversations Through Jewellery

Conversations Through Jewellery considers jewellery as a process of exchange. Bringing together works by UNSW Art & Design Jewellery staff, current students, and alumni, the exhibition explores how ideas circulate through teaching, learning, making, and discussion.

The works presented reflect a network of relationships between makers and materials, mentors and students, past and present. Through acts of experimentation, observation, critique, and response, jewellery becomes a language through which questions are posed, stories are shared, and new perspectives emerge. The exhibition highlights the collective and conversational nature of contemporary jewellery practice, celebrating a community connected through the making and exchange of ideas.
