Tuesday 16 September from 6:30pm to 10pm
Sydney food lovers, mark your calendars – the nationally acclaimed Tales of Fire dinner series is blazing into town this September for a one-night-only collaboration at Kiln.
On Tuesday, 16 September from 6:30pm to 10pm, celebrated fire-driven chef Jake Kellie of Adelaide’s arkhe will join forces with Danish-based Australian chef Beau Clugstonto create an unforgettable menu celebrating peat, salt and fire – the three pillars of Laphroaig’s unmistakable character.
Now in its third year, Tales of Fire pairs Laphroaig’s bold, smoky whiskies with open-flame cooking from some of Australia’s best chefs.
Diners can expect a multi-course feast where flame-kissed local ingredients meet two centuries of Islay whisky tradition, capped off with a guided tasting of Laphroaig’s classic and rare expressions.
Jake Kellie said of the partnership with Laphroaig: “Laphroaig has always been a whisky that speaks to the bold, and that’s exactly the kind of cooking I love. This year’s Tales of Fire series is all about pushing boundaries and collaborating with some of the best chefs around the country to help celebrate the raw power of fire, flavour and that unmistakable Laphroaig smoke.”
