Guided Ride – City centre Christmas ride

Celebrate the festive season on wheels. Join our Christmas Ride, a relaxed guided bike ride exploring the magic of the city centre during Christmas. We’ll check out College Street, Pitt Street, Kent Street, Liverpool Street, and the new Oxford St Cycleway as we take in the twinkling holiday decorations, sparkling lights, and vibrant festive displays.

This is a low-pressure ride designed for all levels of riders, focusing on enjoyment and community connection. Get ready to soak up the holiday spirit while pedalling through the city’s most enchanting seasonal attractions.

If you’re unsure how to reach the starting point, consider taking your bike on the metro to Martin Place. Bikes are permitted on Sydney metro and trains. Once there, we’ll highlight the expanding bike network connections to assist with your future journeys.

You’ll need: 

• Your own roadworthy bike and helmet plus a bike lock

• Bike lights

• Water bottle and snacks

• Your sense of adventure, holiday cheer, and maybe even a touch of tinsel!

Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

We encourage participants to complete the Cycling in the City course before joining a guided ride. The Cycling in the City course will equip you with the skills you need to ride in Sydney.
