Get ready to level up during this year’s Youth Week in the City program. Whether you’re a casual player, competitive gamer or just love hanging out with friends, this free and inclusive gaming event has something for everyone - connect with others who share your passion for gaming in its many forms.

What to expect:

🏆Tournament details:

Show off your skills and win vouchers within multiple genres and styles of games – we have more than $500 worth of prizes up for grabs, as well as trophies for all the winners. While all care will be taken with scheduling, some conflicts may occur.

Estimated schedule for planned comp games:

  • 6:15pm – Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

  • 6:30pm – Street Fighter II

  • 6:45pm – Giant Chess Blitz

  • 7pm – Mario Kart 8 / The Codfather

  • 7:45pm – Winner announcements and prize drop (More than $500 in prizes and trophies)

For a guaranteed spot, register on Eventbrite or arrive at least 10 minutes early to register on the night.

🎮 Casual and drop-in play:

  • VR and arcade – Beat Saber, Dance Dance Revolution (DDR), Pinball

  • Board games and Chillzone – relax and play tabletop games

  • Locally made games – try out The Codfather and more

Game On is a free gaming event for young people aged 15 to 24 who live, work, study or play in the . It is designed and presented by young creatives from the City of Sydney’s Youth Opportunities Program as part of Youth Week in the City.
