Gamarada means 'comrades or friends' in the Gadigal language of the Eora Nation.
Gamarada is a grass roots community initiative deeply embedded into community and led by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peers.
Gamarada provides a space for participants to band together and support each other through positive change.
Indigenous wisdom traditions form the core of all Gamarada programs. There is a strong focus on reconnecting to kinship, health and well-being and an emphasis on practical skills and techniques for dealing with potentially destructive feelings and behaviours.
This empowers participants to break damaging patters of behaviour and focus on positive outcomes for themselves, their families and their communities.
If you are unable to attend in person you can also join in virtually via Zoom.
