The Women’s Reconciliation Network (WRN) is an informal network of First Nations and non-Indigenous women committed to the ongoing process of achieving justice, truth, and equality for all Australia’s First Nations peoples.

Formed in May 1996 in response to a government-led reconciliation process, WRN continues to create spaces for dialogue, learning, and shared action.

Listen: Sally Fitzpatrick – Part 1

“We are women relating and sharing; following the leadership of First Nations Elders and leaders; networking ideas and actions towards bridge-building and reconciliation; creating safe spaces to share stories; and deepening our knowledge of First Nations cultures, stories and histories—recognising that these are gifts to all Australians.”

You can explore WRN’s history, photos, stories, events, and resources—and sign up (free of charge)—by visiting our website and social media:

Voice from the Heart Alliance (VFTHA)

The Voice from the Heart Alliance (VFTHA) grew out of the work of the Women’s Reconciliation Network. It is a grassroots coalition of organisations and individuals who support the 2017 Uluru Statement from the Heart, focusing on the key pillars of Voice, Treaty, and Truth.

The VFTHA aims to connect groups and individuals across Australia, fostering mutual learning and collaboration as we navigate the path forward in a post-Referendum Australia.

To learn more, join the network, receive updates, and access regular newsletters, visit:

Monthly online meetings:

VFTHA meets online only, providing a national space for conversation and connection.
