Free Form Weaving Workshop at Reg Murphy

When

Wednesday 4 December from 1pm to 3pm

Join us for this fun 2 hour free form weaving workshop with afternoon tea to celebrate International Day of People with Disability.

This annual day promotes community awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability.

Free-form weaving on a cardboard loom is a great way to explore weaving.

Arts and craft activities give us an opportunity to pause and slow down. This reduces stress, boosts mood, enhances focus and promotes self-expression.

Improve your mental and emotional health by joining us and connecting with a wonderful group of people.

No artistic experience is necessary and all materials are provided.

 Everyone is welcome.

We aim to deliver inclusive and accessible events. If you have any particular access or communication needs, please contact Bishop, Community Services Worker, on 02 9265 9133 or blaryea@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au.

The City of Sydney's Reginald Murphy Community Centre is open Monday to Friday 9:30am until 3:30pm. There are a table tennis and snooker table, computers, wifi, books to borrow, a piano to play and sewing machines to use, and tea and coffee, all for free. Everyone is welcome!
