Led by yoga teacher and Play School presenter Rachael Coopes, Animal Yoga takes place in the stunning Wild Planet exhibition, beneath a 17m whale skeleton and surrounded by 400 other animals including lions and tigers and bears.

Yoga is a great way to get kids moving, breathing and practicing mindfulness while embracing their wild side. A growing body of evidence suggests that yoga and mindfulness practices for kids foster acceptance and gratitude, and may help with focus, attention, classroom participation, compassion and cognitive development.

No yoga experience required, but a willingness to have fun is a must.

Parents are welcome to join for free.
