Thursdays, Fridays, 12am to 8pm Thursday 8 June to Friday 29 September

Come to Among the Trees, 27 Sydney Street in Bulanaming/Marrickville, for free offcuts (including modelmaking timbers from out machining offcuts), challenge yourself to build a scaled model using just these offcuts/wood scraps and enter it in this competition. We want to see architectural models, scale furniture, giant screws/dice, tiny landscapes, mini animals and anything else you can scale and make out of wood. Your work will be included in an exhibition with the chance to win a gift card prize!

There will be 3 categories: function, creativity and people's choice. Each category winner will receive a $50 Among the Trees gift card.

  • Project drop off at Among the Trees during opening hours in September 2023. Drop-off Deadline: Friday 29th September 2023

  • There will be an exhibition opening night on 30th September 6pm to 8pm where winners will be announced.

  • Exhibition on until October 28th during shop opening hours (Wed-Sat from 10am-4pm)
