Virtual Talk – Physical activity, the elixir of health and wellbeing: how much is enough?

Associate Professor Anne Tiedemann joins us online via Zoom during Science Week 2021 to share her expertise on physical activity for healthy ageing.

Anne will answer the following questions:

  • We all know physical activity is good for us, but how much is enough to boost health and wellbeing?

  • Why is physical activity particularly important as we reach older age?

  • What are the benefits of being active beyond the prevention of chronic disease?

  • How can we get started and stay active in the face of the many barriers and difficulties that come our way?

  • What support and resources are available to help us be more active?

Free online event – everyone welcome!
