Wednesdays, 3:30am to 5:30pm Wednesday 19 July to Wednesday 20 September
Old-school gaming and new-school multiplayer collide in this set of gaming days for young people aged 16-25.
We will also be playing Dungeons & Dragons and social board games.
Create your own hero's story and put your ideas together with others to help solve riddles, make new allies, find clues and defeat evil.
We can also get access to old-school consoles such as the Super Nintendo, Sega Megadrive if we book them in advance, or you can bring your laptop to play with your friends.
There will occasionally be some facilitated 10-minute discussions around healthier gaming habits including:
Assertiveness skills, avoiding bullying and healthier online communications, especially in competitive environments
How to avoid problematic fundraising attempts by games and gambling-like gaming attempts such as loot boxes
Time management and screen addiction management techniques.
This is a free safe and supervised program for young people aged 16-25. No experience is necessary.
Snacks provided.
Bookings recommended. Email msparksman@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au
