How do we balance the role of tech in our lives, and fix our tech futures?

We are living in what has been pronounced as a pivotal time in technological change. The rapid diffusion of technology like artificial intelligence is revolutionising our lives and disrupting entire industries.

Join us to hear a keynote from Galit Ariel, Technofuturist and named one of 40 influential futurists by Forbes in 2022. Galit will dive into the impact of technology on our everyday lives and futures. Galit will unveil the good, the bad and the weird of emerging trends and behaviours; and propose alternative modes of technology creation and usage.

Then, in a moderated conversation with Holly Ransom, Galit will explore counter-hype along with sustainable growth models to help us understand unique opportunities, challenges, and responsibilities of the current wave of revolutionary technologies. Questions will be welcomed from the audience.

Technologies covered will include artificial intelligence, extended reality, avatars, biotech, green tech, cryptocurrency, non-fungible token and the metaverse.
