Sarah Vandenberg is a young and emerging jazz vocalist currently studying at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Her performances are led by her lyrical interpretations, storytelling, precision, and control. Sarah offers audiences evocative musical experiences.

“Sarah Vandenberg brings a genuine jazz sensibility to the repertoire that she performs. It is unusual to hear such maturity of approach in so comparatively young a performer. This is undoubtedly driven by an overarching respect for the genre” – Craig Scott

Sarah draws inspiration from artists like Cecile McLorin Salvant, Carmen McRae, Michael Mayo, and Jazzmeia Horn, whose impact on their audiences has influenced her musical style. She presents creative original compositions and authentic renditions of beloved classics, leaving audiences moved by her music.

The Sarah Vandenberg Quartet features the wonderful Thomas Odell on piano, the skillful James Burgess on double bass, and the amazing Matt Simmonds on drums.
