"My visual expression of landscape is a way of conveying appreciation of the knowledge I have gained from the unique and interesting cultures of all the places I have travelled to and painted in the world.

"Each area I have visited has had its own lasting effect on my work, influencing the themes, colours, tones, and textures. This, and just the pure beauty of the natural world and all its moods are my inspiration. I am also stimulated by the diversity of elements that constitute the formation of the land.

"Wilderness is a time stopped world of slowly evolved ecology belonging to primitive man.  I intrude because it makes me feel primal, it unclutters the vision and clears the way for a fresh beginning.

"In these paintings I would like you to see and feel these inspirations along with the stillness, peace, tranquillity and vision of infinite space."
