Wednesday 30 July from 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Join us at The Wine Bar for an intimate evening with one of Australia's most dynamic and talented young winemakers, Julian Grounds, as he presents the latest chapter in the storied legacy of Stonier Wines.
Founded in 1978, Stonier Wines is a pioneer of the Mornington Peninsula, renowned for crafting elegant Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from some of the region's oldest vines. Under Julian's innovative leadership - shaped by acclaimed stints at Craggy Range, Giant Steps, and McHenry Hohnen - the winery is entering a bold new era. Julian’s approach blends meticulous viticulture with a deep respect for terroir, resulting in wines that are both expressive and refined.
This four-course dinner, set in the luxurious Seidler Room, offers a rare opportunity to taste Stonier’s 2024 vintage - including single-vineyard and reserve bottlings - alongside dishes designed to complement their nuanced profiles, while hearing about the wines' creation directly from Julian. Each pour tells a story of place, precision, and passion.
Julian will guide you through the evening, sharing insights into the winemaking process and the unique characteristics of each wine.
