Speak to me about being a refugee

Where
Cliff Noble Community Centre
Cliff Noble Community Centre
Corner Renwick and Suttor Streets, Alexandria NSW 2015
When

Wednesday 21 June 2023 from 10:30am to 12pm

Everyone is invited to join a morning tea to celebrate Refugee Week with students from Central Sydney Intensive English High School.

The students will share their experiences growing up as refugees and moving to Australia. You’ll hear stories of hope and opportunity and meet some incredible young people who now call Sydney home.

Bookings essential.

Refugee Week is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the contributions which refugees bring to Australia. It's also a time when all Australians are encouraged to educate themselves about the issues that affect refugees, as well as listen to the stories of those seeking asylum.

We aim to present inclusive and accessible events. If you have any particular access or communication needs, please contact Maria Sanna, community services worker on 02 9265 9116 or email msanna@cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au.
