Kyoto is a popular Japanese tourist destination with many UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Whether you’ve been to Kyoto or not, these talks hosted by The Japan Foundation will provide you with a deeper understanding of how Kyoto’s long history is engraved in the cityscape, and how religion is woven into the everyday fabric of life in contemporary Kyoto.

  • Feb 13: Finding Ancient Kyoto in the Modern Cityscape

  • Feb 20: Encountering Religion in the Streets of Kyoto

Come along or watch online, the talks will be streamed via the JPF Sydney Facebook page from 6pm.
