The living room is a space of gathering, relaxation and connection.

How are the ways we gather, relax and connect changing? How is technology shaping the rituals and routines of the living room? What could table manners teach us about how to be in relation with one another? On Saturday 24 May, join us for a guided conversation to explore the relationships, rituals and practices that shape the living room.

The Salon of Reflections is a public living room for the exchange of ideas.

The Salon of Reflections combines guided small-group conversations with an immersive installation experience, designed to stimulate learning, exchange and connection. You'll encounter new perspectives, opinions and stances in a relaxing sensory environment.

What to expect:

  • Permission to pause – An inviting space to unplug, unwind and tune into the present moment.

  • Unexpected connections – Guided small group interactions that foster expansive, surprising conversations.

  • Audience-led explorations – Audience-led discussions, guided by prompts and provocations to inspire new perspectives.

Who should attend?

  • Artists, writers and creatives looking for fresh ideas and invigorating conversation.

  • Anyone looking for a moment to slow down, connect and learn with a supportive community.

The Salon of Reflections is a safe space for women, gender diverse and LGBTQ+ folk, and people of diverse cultural backgrounds and faith expressions. When entering the space, we ask everyone to practice our values of openness, curiosity, learning and care.
