My Aged Care is often described as the doorway into the aged care system for everyone. Yet many of us struggle to navigate the system and some people are getting left behind. As we get older, there are things we need to think about, and prepare for so we can live the way we choose for as long as possible.

Every month we are running help and information sessions all about My Aged Care. We can answer your questions, help you register online or refer you for an assessment.

Whether you are a few years away from needing support or simply want to be prepared, planning ahead gives you more control over your future and KXCC is here to help.

Please bring the following:

• the contact details of your advocate - a family member or close friend

• think about the services you might need

• your Medicare card for ID
