Pyrmont Sings!

When

Tuesdays, 6:30pm to 7:45pm Tuesday 30 January to Tuesday 2 July Except Tuesday 16 April and Tuesday 23 April

Cost

Adult: $120 per termConcession: Talk to us

We are a community choir of 30 to 40 members, and we welcome anyone who enjoys singing and can hold a tune.

We delight in the good fortune of highly professional directors and accompanists, licking us into shape. We perform locally at community events (such as the Pyrmont Festival of Food, Wine and Art, Christmas in Pyrmont, the Mustard Seed Carols and Live Nativity) and in nursing homes.

Our repertoire varies, but usually includes light classics, jazz standards, pop songs, songs from musicals and carols.

We rehearse during school terms, and charge a fee of $120 per term. We can reduce the fee if this is difficult, as we don't want to exclude anyone. Our rehearsals are Tuesdays from 6.30 to 7.45pm. While Pyrmont Community Centre is temporarily closed for an upgrade, rehearsals at being held in the Harold Park Community Hall, located inside The Tramsheds at 1 Dalgal Way, Forest Lodge. The venue is next to the Jubilee Park light rail stop.

Many members share a cheap and cheerful meal afterwards, currently at Harold Hotel. If you think this is for you, please come to a rehearsal and find out!
