Learn botanical art from Anna Voytsekhovich, a professional scientist, scientific illustrator, botanical artist and wildlife illustrator.
During the workshop, you will be given an example of main morphological groups of fungi and explained the difference in their morphology and ecology. Anna will demonstrate different watercolour techniques that can be used in botanical art and explain the difference in materials and styles. Students will learn how to produce an initial drawing of selected fungi, what to include in composition, and how to produce an eye catching and aesthetically pleasing botanical watercolour of fungi.
Includes refreshments and lunches each day in the beautiful surrounds of the Royal Botanic Gardens.
