Friday 20 January from 10:30am to 1:30pm
In this hands-on experience, you’ll personalise your own laser-cut flower press. Using Adobe Illustrator you'll create a design which will be etched onto the front of your press.
You’ll then use pressed plants to create printed artworks and cards.
Botanists press plants to preserve specimens collected in field studies. Engaging in plant collecting will increase your appreciation of local plant diversity and create unique material for botanical crafting. Sydney City Farm will introduce you to a range of flowers and plants that look amazing when dried and pressed.
