Join us on the second Tuesday of the month, until November for free one-on-one sessions with library staff at Redfern Community Centre. Sessions will be a maximum of 20 minutes. Bookings are recommended as places are limited.

Redfern Community Centre is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. We have computers for public use and free wifi, books to take home, programs, activities, events and spaces for hire.
Terms and conditions
Sessions will be a maximum of 20 minutes per customer.
Library staff can assist with basic support linked to the Office of eSafety’s Be Connected including:
Basic device use including smartphones, iPads/tablets, laptops, computers
Basic app/software program use including web browser, word processing, email)
Basic internet searching including keyword searches, navigating websites, bookmarking favourite websites
Basic email assistance including creating an email account, accessing your emails, sending/receiving, attaching documents to an email
Basic online safety including creating strong passwords, useful eSafety websites
Basic online forms including searching for the right form, navigating online forms)
How to use Be Connected website and access the free online courses
Please note that library staff are unable to assist customers with support for tech issues including, but not limited to, more in-depth issues including:
Job applications
Online training courses/inductions
Homework or completing assignments (e.g. university/TAFE)
Completing online forms outside of the Be Connected module
Intermediate or advanced-level computer, device or software training
Buying and selling online
Building websites
Banking, finance and legal documents
