Low Vision Artsmaking Workshop: ‘Impact’

When
  • Sunday 17 May from 3pm to 4pm

Join artist Keith Rutherford for an artmaking workshop designed specifically for people with low vision.

This specialised workshop will focus on sensory experiences of the exhibition and the building itself, for a tailored creative workshop using tactile and sensory materials, making art accessible for individuals with vision impairments.

This workshop will follow an Audio Described Tactile Tour of the exhibition, led by Keith Rutherford and Biennale staff.

The Programs Space is located on the upper floor of the Boiler House within White Bay Power Station. This can be accessed by the internal Boiler House staircase or the lift, which is located in the centre of the building. If you take the lift exit at ‘Level 3’ and continue through to the right. From here at the far side of the room you will see a sign for the ‘Program Hub’.

Access: Designed specifically for visitors who are blind or have low vision, and their guests
