2 Day - interest class

This event invites children to participate in the Lion Dance Kids Program, where they can immerse themselves in a rich cultural experience inspired by the traditions of Chinese New Year and the art of Lion Dancing. Through storytelling and interactive activities, the program aims to teach values such as courage, teamwork, hard work, and perseverance while also promoting physical activity and creative expression.

Program Highlights:

Day 1 (Introduction and Creativity): Children will learn about the history and origins of Lion Dancing and Chinese New Year, practice basic Lion Dance movements, and explore arts and crafts tied to the theme. They will also be introduced to Dragon Dance fundamentals and participate in a small showcase of what they've learned.

Day 2 (Mastery and Showcase): The focus will be on building coordination, confidence, and rhythm through advanced practice. Children will prepare for a grand performance for parents, completing their creative projects and engaging in a full-dress rehearsal before the showcase.

What to Bring:

Participants should wear comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes suitable for physical activities, bring a water bottle for hydration, and pack a small snack and face towel to ensure a safe and enjoyable session.

This interactive program is a fantastic way for children to connect with cultural traditions, make new friends, and build valuable skills. Join us for this memorable journey into the world of Lion Dancing!
