Looking for a fun, hands-on school holiday activity that inspires the next generation of recyclers? Join us at the Banish Sustainability Hub for a 90-minute interactive recycling session designed for kids aged 8 and up!
Available sessions:
Kids 8-12 years: Wednesday 14 January 3pm-4:30pm
Youth 13-16 years: Wednesday 14 January 1pm-2:30pm
Kids 8-12 years: Tuesday 20 January 9am-10:30am
Youth 13-16 years: Tuesday 20 January 11am-12:30pm
What’s included?
A hands-on experience sorting and learning about plastics
A 2kg BRAD drop-off to recycle hard-to-recycle items
A carabiner made from recycled plastic to take home
Expert-led session to inspire real-world action
Supervised by staff with WWCC certification
Where: Banish Sustainability Hub, 490 Pitt St, Haymarket
Who: Kids 8+ years, with a parent/guardian present for the duration (one parent per four kids). Youth 13-16 parent/guardian is not required.
