INDIE YARNS – FREE First Nations Q&A!

This year Sydney Fringe is proud to hold space for First Nations voices in the Arts. We can’t wait to kick off the season with important conversations at our Q&A event Indie Yarns. We’re a country rich in over 60,000 years’ worth of storytelling; we’re excited to take the next step to listen and learn from our first storytellers.

Where: Redfern Community Centre, Performance Space (Upstairs), 29-53 Hugo Street, Redfern

When: 12pm – 2pm, Saturday 3rd September 2022

Tickets: Free! Please register here

Indie Yarns gives you the chance to listen to some of Sydney’s leading independent First Nations artists; they’ll talk about their creative process, staying true to culture and how they make stuff happen in a competitive industry. Panelists include Bjorn Stewart (Filmmaker, Creator, Screen Actor), Sandy Greenwood (Writer, Producer, Performer), Angeline Penrith (Theatre and Screen Actor), Nana Miss Koori (Drag and all-round Entertainer) and Jodie Choolburra-Welsh (Brolga Dance Academy Founder).
