Handpicked Wines embodies a culture of organic and sustainable wine growing based on classic wine regions and special vineyard estates, including the Mornington Peninsula, the Yarra Valley, the Barossa Valley and Tasmania.
Kathryn Bevan, a Handpicked winemaker from DMG, will be travelling up from Tasmania to join us here at The Emerald Room & host the Handpicked Pinot Noir Dinner.
Kathryn grew up in Tasmania, with a long connection to agriculture before studying Oenology & Viticulture at the University of Adelaide. She completed several vintages in Australia and overseas, before returning to Pipers River in 2016 as Assistant Winemaker. After a few years she became Winemaker and has been an integral part of the Handpicked team ever since.
