Join Guide Dogs NSW/ACT to celebrate International Guide Dogs Day in Martin Place on Wednesday 30 April 2025. We’ll have a fun packed day with lots of stalls and a variety of activities available for you to participate in.

International Guide Dogs Day marks the end of the “Good Access is Good Business” campaign, which Guide Dogs NSW/ACT has been running in partnership with the City of Sydney. For this campaign we’ve been visiting hospitality businesses across the City of Sydney to raise awareness and encourage them to make their venues inclusive for people with low vision or blindness.

Do you want to learn more about this campaign and how you can get involved? Contact us at socialchange@guidedogs.com.au or come chat to us in Martin Place on Wednesday 30 April for our next fun and exciting event!

We're offering an exciting opportunity for passionate advocates to join us on our mission to make long lasting change for the community. Our keen team of change-makers are called, inclusion allies. If you're eager to be involved, we'd love to invite you to sign up as an inclusion ally Become an inclusion ally.

As an added bonus for you, we’ve granted hospitality businesses in Sydney’s Local Government Area (LGA) free access to a short online course on assisting people with blindness or low vision. This course is easy to complete and offers simple actions that can make your business more inclusive. The course link can be accessed here. The free code is ‘Sydney’.

Thank you for reading and for your support. We hope to see you at International Guide Dogs Day!
