Textured paint & sip

Our textured painting class puts a fresh spin on the classic paint and sip.

We’re proud to be the original studio in Sydney offering Textured Painting classes, a workshop that remains one of our most popular experiences.

Rather than following a step-by-step copy of the teacher’s artwork, you’ll learn how to create beautiful textured effects with a palette knife, and then be free to design your own piece. Whether you want to create a petal-style painting, abstract waves, or something entirely unique, this class is all about having fun and exploring your creativity.

You’ll be guided through the techniques, colours, and layering styles, but there’s no pressure to stick to a template, giving you more time to enjoy the process, relax with your friends, and sip your favourite drink.

All materials are provided and it’s fully BYO-friendly, so you can bring along your favourite wine, beer, or bubbles.

What you'll learn

• How to paint an ombre background on your canvas.

• Learn how to use a palette knife to create textured petal effects (or other designs).

• Practice your petal shapes first, before applying them to the canvas.

• We’ll take you through how to layer and make flowers, but it’s totally up to you what to paint

• Techniques for creating a polished, finished look
