9th April 6-8pm Opening Night 13th April, 3pm Artist Talk

Artists April White and Steve Starr embark on an exploration of the often-blurred borders between the natural and urban landscape. Flight Path 24 engages with the emotionally resonate truths ranging from the sensual to the frivolous in our relationships with the multiplicity of life on Earth.

April White has engaged with the beautiful birds of Australia many years. White strives to capture their vibrant colours and rich accents in her canvases. White’s birds express freedom and courage as they navigate an ever-changing world.

Steve Starr embarks on an interrogation of the undeniable impact of human activity on the climate and the biosphere. Starr’s work celebrates the magnificence, beauty and wonder of the natural world, including the natural human form that has inspired artists for centuries.

White and Starr, in their own voices, connect with the fundamental awe & beauty of nature that radiates in plain sight all around us.
