The Women’s Library is pleased to commemorate NAIDOC week by presenting two short films by talented Aboriginal filmmakers.

Join us at Dendy Cinema in Newtown on Tuesday 9 July from 6:00pm for a viewing of Annie Pratten’s Terra Nullius and To Be Silent written and directed by Tace Stevens.

The films will be followed by a discussion with writer and director Annie Pratten.

Terra Nullius is a re-release of Annie Pratten's acclaimed film from 1992, re-mastered from the original film negatives.

To Be Silent is a documentary that draws on animation and poetic reenactment to tell Tace’s story of learning to stand her ground.

Catch the train to Newtown Station, or take one of the buses that goes down King Street. Dendy Cinema is a short walk from Newtown Station.
