Feast is a collaborative exhibition celebrating the importance of sharing a meal.
It is centred around a long-running community embroidery project, a tablecloth created from an old, monogrammed linen sheet.
Exceptional examples of basketry, paper arts, calligraphy, photography, painting and textiles are exhibited upon and around this cloth, all created by the artists and craftspeople based at the Primrose Park Art and Craft Centre. The groups that share the studio space at Primrose Park celebrate all that is handmade and sustainably produced.
In addition to the exhibition, various workshops, demonstrations and free community events will be held at the Centre during Sydney Craft Week for all ages, including a Textile Repair Cafe. Please consult our website for information on these activities.
This event is part of the Sydney Craft Week Festival 7-16 October 2022.
SCW is an Australian Design Centre initiative. View the complete festival program.
