These summer school holidays, get hands-on with free art-making workshops, Hive Festival and more at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.

Free drop-in workshops:

  • Birthday wishes – Daily, 6–24 January

  • Take flight – Daily, 6–24 January

Booked workshop (for 5–8 yeas and 9–12 years):

  • Magic worlds with Magritte – Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 January

Free family-friendly exhibition:

  • Kwatja Kngarritja Tnyirlalhama (Big Rain Falling) – Open daily until 9 February

Free festival:

Hive Festival for kids – Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 January, 10am–5pm. A huge two-day fun-filled program of art-making, performance, storytelling and more.
