Fantasy World Mixed Media (6-11 Years)

In this exciting workshop, kids will create their own vibrant fantasy scenes, like enchanted forests, underwater kingdoms, or outer space adventures, using a mix of drawing, painting, and collage.
They'll start by exploring creative ideas and sketching key elements of their scene. Then, they’ll paint their backgrounds with watercolours or acrylics, using fun techniques like sponge painting and splattering for texture and effect.
Once their backgrounds dry, children will draw and colour their characters and objects on separate paper, then cut them out and collage them onto their painted scenes. They’ll add extra details with layers of construction paper, tissue paper, and fun finishing touches like metallic pens, and bold outlines.
